Our pledge through the Early Learners Promise will be used to enhance early childhood education opportunities for young children in our community, particularly those from underserved or under-resourced backgrounds. We intend to use the support to cover children tuition, pay teachers a competitive salary, supply developmentally appropriate books, classroom materials and family engagement resources. Additionally, we will provide professional development for our educators so they can implement inclusive, culturally responsive, and evidence-based teaching strategies.

 

The initiative will focus on creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for children ages two and a half to six. Our plan includes launching family literacy activities to promote early reading habits, offering parent workshops focused on early brain development and home learning, and establishing stronger partnerships with local libraries and child development specialists. These efforts are designed to improve Preschool and kindergarten readiness and set a strong educational foundation for every child, regardless of background. By supporting families, teachers, and children together, this initiative aims to close learning gaps early and build a more connected and resilient community.
